Wie könnte ein Tag schöner beginnen, als mit der Nachricht über ein neues Album von King Buzzo und Dale Crover a.k.a. The Melvins?

Wie aktuell auf ihrer Bandcamp-Seite angekündigt, erscheint im Februar 2021 ein neues Album names Working With God, und zwar in der 1983er Besetzung mit Schlagzeuger Mike Dillard. Bereits 2013 reaktivierten The Melvins schon einmal ihr frühes Line-Up auf dem Album Tres Cabrones.

Mit dem sehr amüsanten Track I Fuck Around, der auf dem Beach Boys-Hit I Get Around basiert, und Bouncing Rick gibt es bereits zwei Songs des neuen Albums zu hören. Weiterhin dürfen sich The Melvins-Fans auf Reissues von Hostile Ambient Takeover und Gluey Porch Treatments freuen.
