Jedem Ende wohnt ein Anfang inne oder umgekehrt jedem Anfang wohnt ein Ende inne. Eine der vielen großen Erkenntnisse auf dem Debütalbum Stabil Labil des Pop-Duos Ducks On Drugs. Reduzierte Musik mit labilen Texten und viel viel Liebe.

Ducks On Drugs entspringen der Band Schnipo Schranke, die vor ein paar Jahren mit unter anderem dem Lied Pisse für Furore gesorgt haben. Nach der Trennung im letzten Jahr haben Daniela und Ente Ducks On Drugs gegründet. Musikalisch ist vielleicht ein bisschen seichter und poppiger, textlich weniger derb. Was gleich geblieben ist, ist der Tiefgang der über, unter, links, rechts und zwischen den Zeilen schwebt und mich als Hörer hin und wieder zum Schmunzeln und Nachdenken anregt.

Stabil Labil vereint vom leichten Punksound bis hin zu Schlager gefühlt alle Musikrichtungen und bringt so schon eine gewisse Abwechslung. Hier und da kann man sich die Lieder sogar von Kirchenchören gesungen vorstellen oder fühlt sich auf eine 80er Tanzfläche mit blondierten Haaren zurückversetzt. Stabil Labil ist eine Platte zum Drogen nehmen mit Freund:innen und für Menschen, die sich lieben und sich gerne im Arm haben. Für Menschen die aneinander glauben und gerne mit geschlossenen Augen spannender Musik lauschen. Fear The Fear!
